Oh wow, I saw the whole town hall meeting with her in it this morning, but I didn't know she thought like that. Sike. Yea, I did. Sad enough she was exploited but she should've came prepared. How dumb is this lady to not know her family income. WOW!!!

She admittedly wasn't fazed by 9/11 or the war in Iraq. She can't remember Specter's response. This is the teabagger mentality. They are looking for a reason to throw a fit; don't like a black President and want their 15 minutes of fame.

I saw this interview on Hardball the other night and I could not believe the answers coming out of this woman. First off, when asked if she & her husband made more than 250K per year...she did not know!!!
When asked if she thought medicare was a program that should be repealed she thought is should be because (in her words) "this country should rely on the goodness of others!!!!" Excuse me but does she think she can knock on her neighbors door and ask for a cup of medicare funding? Than there's the question, "why was she not politically aware during the war & during 911. Her answer: "to be honest, I didn't care". I just can't believe these people exist.

Not much choice for answers. She was not very articulate...but then again...how many of us would be on TV with Larry ranting about repealing medicare.
She said "I think a lot of programs in place should not be here".....I agree.
Can we repeal them now...no...we now have gov sheep that need to be herded.
If it was a set up...they should have given her a crheap sheet with it written out...like they did the kid at obama's TH.

Watch it again Larry was very cordial and kind to Katy, the kicker is that he asked her solid questions that revealed her motives or lack there of.

i watch Larry all the time. It is his usual style...repeated hammer opponent with a question that really has a complex answer..when he gets his answer he chooses to focus on only the one part of the argument that suits him.
He was not interested in a discussion of ideas......he only wanted to discredit her. His style...fluster your opponent...and it generally works for him.
In my opinion...she is just like one of us... going up against a pitbull. Don't know about you...but it would certainly rattle me.
He was only more cordial at the end.

Larry was very respectful of his questions & to her answers. She put herself out on the line and showed viewers what she knows about the issues, which wasn't much.

So asking Katy what her family income is a question that requires a complex answer... I don't think so. I know his style and that he can be very aggressive, but that certainly wasn't the case here. If you can't answer questions like why didn't you care about politics when we had two wars and 9/11 occur is very telling. I'm sorry but the questions weren't very complex at all.

She had no idea what she was even talking about - which proves her point that at 35 she had never had any interest in politics until now. Really? She didn't have any idea about her family's finances or about her insurance or whether her parents would use SS or Medicare, because they don't discuss politics. This is what is wrong with this country, too many are dumbed down, don't pay attention and get all their information from Fox News thinking it is "fair and balanced". What a dumb bimbo. Is she going to become the new "Joe the Plumber" du jour? I wouldn't doubt it.......good God these people disgust me with their ignorance of the issues facing this country! But they get their 15 minutes of fame for displaying that ignorance on every cable station.

I can't be upset at the people for being dumb, or dumbed down...or not even being interested. I get upset when the dumb, dumbed down, or uninterested ACT like they know...and that have no idea. It's one thing to be dumb...but it's another to be dumb and act like you aren't.

I agree. I just think in these times everyone needs to pay attention, read and get all the information they can about whatever issue it is. And that doesn't mean listening to talking heads spin the issue or spread lies and disinformation. Katy Abram had no clue what she was even talking about but agreed to come on a TV show where she was exposed as someone who had no clue. She did nothing to add to the healthcare conversation, but she did successfully make a fool of herself.

Even if someone had pushed me to ask their question at a townhall, I wouldn't have agreed to an interview if I had no idea what I was talking about. Something about appearing to be slow in front of national television just doesn't do it for me, lol. The sad part is, there are a bunch of other uninformed, uninterested, and/or dumbed down people who are cheering her on...even after that embarassing interview. You would have thought that they would have learned something from Palin, lol.

Well, that would assume that Palin's supporters would actually see her as the vapid human she really is. That hasn't happened. They think she is their patron saint of the average American Joe Six Pack and Hockey Moms. So Katy Abram is just another of these clueless people. The people who are cheering on Sarah Palin or Katy Abram will never get that they aren't the brightest bulbs. But I think their supporters just think they are one of them so its all good. lol

Well, when she spoke at the meeting she was sweaty and shaking and had her stuff written out...

She probably should have tried that approach for a NATIONAL INTERVIEW...

I would have at least made some crib note on my shoe or something... lmao!

My God, I think I would have declined an interview if I was so easily put on the spot... To save face at least.
