Does ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ Deserve a GLAAD Media Award Nomination?

What do the TV shows "Grey's Anatomy," "American Horror Story: Asylum," "Modern Family," “The Mentalist” and “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” have in common? They were all nominated for GLAAD Media Awards.
“Honey Boo Boo” got the nod in the Outstanding Reality Program against “The Amazing Race,” “The Real L Word,” “Small Town Security” and “Pregnant in Heels.” The TLC show, which depicts the life of a family in rural Georgia, includes Alana Thompson’s Uncle Poodle, aka Lee Thompson, who shows America what it’s like to be a gay man in the South. Poodle recently revealed he is HIV positive.
GLAAD gives out awards each year to TV shows that offer “fair and inclusive” accounts of the LGBT lifestyle. In a release, GLAAD President Herndon Graddick, said, “This year’s nominees enlighten and entertain, but also reflect a new American landscape where a growing majority accept and value their LGBT family, colleagues and friends.”
The Thompsons do seem to fit that bill. Honey Boo Boo herself once said on the show, "Ain't nothing wrong with being a little gay. Everybody's a little gay." What do you think? Does "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" deserve a GLAAD Media Award nomination?

For myself, don't really care. More important things like watching paint peel must take precedent.

That is literally one of the greatest things that has ever been said on reality tv.
I personally don't like the show and im not saying its exactly right, but to call her mother a bad mother is about as stupid as the show appears to be.
This little girl is doing something she likes to do, and maybe she'll regret it one day, but she probably wont have to exert herself in the future to live comfortably, if she uses the money wisely.
I'm sure that if she didn't want to do the show anymore, and they could get out of contract, her mother wouldn't make her.
It is sad that thousands of people are dying from AIDS. The REALLY sad part is that the general population doesn't know the primary cause for the spread of AIDS, according to the Journal of the AMA: anal sex. This is why AIDS was EXCLUSIVELY a gay male disease when it came to this country, and STILL is a predominantly gay male disease. People need to learn these facts and turn off the pro pervert TV that makes this behavior, of the 3% (CDC), appear to be 'normal'.
And another thing, Alana and her family stand up to bullying, which I don't think most of you know. And this family obviously has nothing against the LGBT community. They stand up for the community. Stop being filthy people and act like a human being, not a snob-nosed politician.
A) A wretched human being contributing to the non-stop degrading of American society by patronizing ever more glutinous lifestyles.
B) A sick, disgusting human being that gets some sort of sick thrill from watching a little fat girl go through life because it's funny.
