Hit the ball. Run to that pad at the corner. Run to the next one. Then turn left again. Go to the third one. MAKE A NOTHER LEFT TURN. Go to the place you started. That sounds kind of like NASCAR.

Only dullards would believe other wise. They cannot see the intricacies of the game. The battles going on constantly. Pitcher and hitter, outfielder decoying the base runners, the catcher trying to fool the hitter, the infield positioning itself to try tho get the hitter to hit where he doesn't want to. On and on.

Oh, come on now! Baseball is the All American sport. I love baseball. You actually get to see the players perform as individuals and as team members. And it is a matter of skill in hitting and playing in the outfield. And of course the pitching too. I've always liked baseball too because I understand it better than football or basketball. I even like to watch bowling. And maybe it's because the Red Sox are my team and someone has to love them.

I agree. I just wish my grandfather could have lived to see the Sox win the World Series in 2004. He was a great fan

Detroit? Always good when the home team wins. I'll tell you Boston went wild when the Sox won in '04. They rode in the Duck Boats all through the city and then the Duck Boats went right into the Charles River and there must have been thousands and thousands of people cheering them on. It was just great! Glad you had some wins too!

It depends on how good your team is. We got to see the Rangers win the pennant last year (only to have our hearts broken again) but since Nolan Ryan took the reins, it's been as entertaining as can be.
