Watching reruns is fun, but can also feel like a waste of time to some. As it turns out though, that is not the case, according to a study by psychologist Jaye Derrick of the University of Buffalo's Research Institute on Addictions. Derrick states that watching reruns can help us all because it replenishes our depleted self-control and ability to resist temptation.

Apparently, when a person is watching a rerun of one of their favorite shows like Seinfeld or Boy Meets World, it can give him or her positivity from the familiar fictional world they know. After all, people don't just want reruns because they are the only thing on TV. They tune in because they are fun and enjoyable to watch.

Reruns also help relieve stress, especially comedies that can potentially clear the clouded mind. Of course, if your temptation is sour cream and onion flavored chips when watching TV, it may be a little hard to suppress that temptation when your favorite show's reruns are on.

Old shows like Bonanza and MASH are better than these (un)reality shows. Or History/Discovery/Animal Planet reruns.

If your that bored, turn the tv off and enjoy your life! =)
Adopt a lovable stray from the shelter and see if that doesn't solve your boredom! They give the best hugs and appreciate you more then your tv bill ever will!

The closest shelter is about 100 miles I think. -__- I'm only 14, too. Have school and no driver's license. But wish I could. Maybe when I'm older :3.

Most counties have dog pounds and you can volunteer there also.
You could also help out at a veterinarians office and receive credit for it.
You would love my two schnauzers.

I was never really into Seinfeld. F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Boy Meets World, Saved by the Bell, The Nanny, etc. Those are some of my favorites. So awesome

I have an idea for the final episode of SOA.
She wakes up back on the couch in the MWC set and says
"Al, you wouldn't believe the dream I just had". ;-D LOL

Hell yeahs I do! Full House..Friends...The old 2 in a half men with Charlie Sheen cause the new ones with Ashton Kutcher sucks friggin balls...And yeah all of them! There the best!

I watch all the shows I watched as a young child, Boy Meets World, Friends, That's So Raven, Life With Derek, Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Rocket Power etc etc.

I was so sad when she quit the show. They had enough views to keep going. :( They're making a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, but it's not going to have Joss Whedon--

Oh, well, it's probably for the best. Without Joss Whedon or the rest of the cast, it wouldn't have been as good, which would have deeply disappointed me--and probably make me angry lol.
