I personally don't like 3D TV all that much even though I never tried it. That stuff gives me a headache when watching it, even when I was younger it did. So is this good or bad for TV?

The majority of them are pure garbage. Of those that remain, there are a few that, in spite of the "scripted" reality and the "dramatic deadlines", manage to remain somewhat interesting. Fewer still are ACTUAL reality, such as "MythBusters", which is really good.
reality dramatic deadlines manage remain interesting actual reality mythbusters mythbusters

If you were referring strictly to 3D, i have no opinion...I've never seen it.

First off for 3D TV to do well there has to be a decent amount of program for which there just isn't. Also 3D has been a fad that keeps on disappearing and reappearing. The first generation of the 3D fad was in the late 50's into the early 60's. So I think 3D will continue to be a fad that comes and goes and then the cycle continues again.....

There are a lot of people who can not handle watching 3D. Not to mention the cost of producing the TV's & the programming

I hope this is just a passing fancy, would be a shame if more of our money was wasted on this technology.

I usually wait with new technology to get people's opinions(not sales people) and to see if they iron out the kinks and lower the price.

Bummer. It's my favorite channel. Some of their shows are so esoteric I wonder how they got the green-light to make it. That's what makes it great though.

I have digital cable. They'll never offer it on basic cable, even though it outdoes regular Discovery (which I am also a fan of).

I never watched cartoons growing up. I watched "Beyond 2000" and "The Next Step." Do you remember those? For the record, I'm in my twenties.

I surely hope so, cause I'd hate to sit through something holding my head all the time. Even if I took headache medicine it would make no difference. It's just natural that I get that through watchin that 3D crap.
