Do you think 'The Dark Knight Rises' will be bigger and better than 'The Dark Knight'?

Box office wise I give it a 50/50 chance of out doing TDK but not by much. Let face it Heath's death and the groundswell of positive reception towards another Batman film after Batman Begins (it did really well on video media/rentals which when combined with those who saw it and liked it in theaters helped build unbelievable goodwill towards TDK) helped inflate the box office earnings a little bit. However the wild card factor here is how many people who saw TDK won't see TDKR for one reason or another. I know I'm not seeing TDKR because I didn't like TDK. Critically I give it a 20/80 chance at outdoing TDK because it has an uphill battle because TDK was about as dark tone wise as you can be and still be PG-13 and if it dials it back too far it will be ''too campy'' compared to previous film and also TDK raised expectation especially for critics that might not be possible to match. So it has it's work cut out for it.

I think the passing of Heath Ledger, the the Dark Knight and help people who would not normally go to a movie like that go .

However, I hope it does well . Good Super hero movies would just get them to make more.

time will tell once the movie's out. at this point, I really don't know. can't wait though

I wasn't impressed with the last Batman installment hope this one is much better.

i really liked the the Dark Knight

It's the last one to complete the saga,and so I know folks will pack the movie theater.

From the previews i cant really tell The Dark Knight was awesome... but I heart Batman so even if it sucks ill still watch it!

the dark knight was a sequel...

so a sequel of a sequel is bound to suck even harder
