Do You Think Suge Knight Was Involved in Tupac's Murder?

Fifteen years after the anniversary of Tupac's death, there are still movies coming out about it. Well, this isn't exactly about Tupac, but it's close enough to count. Antoine Fuqua, director of "Training Day" and the man reportedly in charge of an official Tupac biopic, will be directing a Showtime movie about Suge Knight.

Suge Knight was the co-founder and CEO of Death Row Records -- at one time home to Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Tupac Shakur -- until a series of problems, including the murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. and multiple incarcerations, led the public to distrust Knight.

Though Knight was in the car with Tupac when the shooting happened, some still believe that Knight was involved in or even orchestrated Tupac's murder. Police maintain that there is no evidence suggesting Knight had anything to do with it, but former Death Row artist Snoop Dogg has publicly accused him of it, causing frequent media feuds between the two.

Since the dissolution of Death Row, Knight has been publicly beaten, filed for bankruptcy, landed in jail multiple times, tried and failed to start a new record label and watched his reputation dissolve into one of the least-trusted figures in the music industry. Fuqua's documentary, the first in a series of Showtime biopics about controversial people, will include interviews with Knight to give him a chance to combat his bad reputation.

Co-producer Bradley Fischer said in a statement, "Suge Knight's reputation and rise to power in the music business has become the stuff of legend, and he remains one of the entertainment industry's most provocative and enduring myths ... But while his name elicits an immediate and powerful reaction from people around the world, very few can legitimately claim to know the man."

I think it was the government who killed him. Tupac was very opinionated and anti-government and exposing their secrets, so they killed him. Then they killed Biggie to make it coincidental and blame the West coast vs. East coast "war".

I wouldn't say involved but he knows who did it. Suge stated even if he knew who killed him he wouldn't tell. The people responsible for Tupac's death are high rollers in this world.

Dude was murdered on the Vegas Strip and no one seen it? Sure.....

I don't think he had a part in Tupac's murder, but he is certainly guilty of other violent crimes.

In 2003, he was sent to prison when he struck a parking lot attendant. On August 27, 2008, he was arrested on drug and aggravated assault charges after leaving a Las Vegas strip club. When police arrived on the scene, Knight was had a knife and was beating his girlfriend, Melissa Isaac., His girlfriend was scheduled to testify against him in the assault case is now missing, and he suspected of being involved in her disappearance. Because of this charges were dropped.

Tupac was surrounded by islam, violence, thuggery, all of his family members were in and out of jail and they were active in the muslim community and black panthers, as well as the communist party.

ALL of these had reason to kill him if he converted or changed allegiances.

    Suge-not so squeaky clean either.

Sounds like someone and another someone may have been in a money or drug battle. Never know, but clean and upstanding, I would never call them and the fact that so many think of Tupac as nearly a saint since his death is tragic, and a massive joke.

Just to clarify, I do not think is a saint either. However, he did not deserve to be murdered. :)

True, I agree, no one deserves to be murdered. But if these kinds of criminal thugs want to kill each other off, I am not going to be real upset about that either.

Locally, when turf wars break out of a dealer changes from one product to another-which means changing alliances in the hierarchy, there are occasional shootings. Hate it, but not that upset over it whether it is the white meth heads or the other kinds who distribute other drugs.

Why would he have Tupac shot in a drive-by shooting when he could've been shot by bullet that could have possibly missed Tupac? I doubt he's risk his life to murder Tupac

Unless he was the shooter. Certainly he wasn't at risk if he pulled the trigger and the stories given to police are often false.

We've got credible witnesses that he wasn't the shooter. He certainly have been involved. But he wasn't the shooter.

Okay, but he may certainly have instigated it, there was a LOT of missing money. A LOT and if Tupac was asking for his, that could have been the impetous.

Oh ya, I know that man. Look at my reply to Tooshy right below this. I'm not saying Suge wasn't involved (he almost certainly was). But did he pull the trigger? Not likely.

Cause he was going to have to pay Pac. At the time of Tupac's death Suge owed Tupac a truly massive sum of money from the sales of All Eyez On Me. Suge was reluctant to pay, and Tupac started making noise about leaving Death Row for other labels. Suge couldn't have that. So, three birds one stone. If Tupac is dead, Suge won't have to pay him and no other label will get him. Then Suge can orchestrate the killing of Biggie, which will look like a revenge hit in the East vs West war, and knock off the competition.
