    to be singing about death it realy does not mean it's emo thing... death is quite natural and there are not just emo bands that are singing about it.

    no i dont think so death is just somthing that happens u cant control it and singing songs about it make sense because the ppl who can listen to it an understand it have no problem with death so i dont think that death and "emo" should be put together because death happens no matter wat u cant change and i have no comment on "emo" but if ppl say yes to this they need to rethink it.

    They deliver the seemingly gloomy lyrics in a very powerful way, implying the opposite of what you may think when you read them.
    Theres a sense of hope under all those angsty words...which really makes you not afraid to keep on living! XP & Yes I did cheesily quote that.

    not necessarily a positive thing, but when MCR sings about death you can always feel the hope underneath it all. their lyrics can be sad or dark, but their beat is happy and their message is positive.

    Emo in this sense is a music genre. There are songs about death in any genre you can think of, not only this one.

    no not at all, however i don't know if it can be seen as a positive thing, but as they always say, and is true, there is a weird underlying beauty behind death. and mcr doesn't approach death like other "emo" bands would. they're not like killll meee baby so my body can be found in your bathtub because i hate myysellff! or whatever it is. they put a different, weirdo perspective of it out there. and when you dig deep, its not about death, its about life.
