    I don't know what you mean by being herself. Her 'image' was created for her so she could be more sensationalized in the media and get more publicity. Before she was Lady Gaga, she was just like everyone else. The weirdo you see with Lady Gaga, isn't necessarily her self-expression at all. She's a product of marketing. Nothing more.

    they are just both artists with there own way of presenting things.. gaga was a performance artist before she did music.. and keep in mind.. she isn't the only one responsible for her her outrageous outfits, I think Glenn Hetrick has a hand in that as well. and well he's just a little odd himself. Manson uses his design and image to explain his music to the audience. and yes.. he was also an artist in his own right.. watercolor images that he sold to .. certain types of people. following this were if i remember correctly 2 or 3 art gallery showings so all in all they both made an impression to someone who moved them into the music realm.

    Yeah, I've been saying the same for awhile now. And they've both followed in the footsteps of Madonna and KISS. They have all been the focus of the extreme for the mainstream. The "general public" eventually gets tired of *gasping*, no matter how many security guards get teabagged.

    They're both attention whores. That's about it.

    Manson was very lucky to have met Reznor, he probably would have ended up a poet/ writer otherwise. An entertaining guy nevertheless.

    And Gaga, she can be fun...BUT ANNOYINGLY HISTRIONIC. Can't hate on her music skills...JUST BE A LITTLE MORE CREATIVE AND USE THAT BLOODY BUDGET FOR YOUR PRODUCTION A LITTLE MORE CAREFULLY. SO. MUCH. MONEY.
