Do you think it's wrong for male hip hop artists to refer to women as b%tches/ho's? Or do you think it's just entertainment?

Or do you think they're just refering to certain women?

Rappers are low class anyway. The scary thing is, YOUR children emulate these people and hang on every word. Don't be surprised when your children call you a bitch or a ho...

I see (or hear) it as degrading women. I think if you have to call them that in public, especially, then you must have a problem with your own manhood.

I don't find ANYTHING RIGHT about disrespect, sexism, superior attitudes, or hating police. I do everything I can to avoid hearing any of it.

Wrong is wrong and it will NEVER be right! That same rapper calling his woman a b*tch or a ho would shoot you if you called his mama the same. So those ARE derogatory, it just depends on who is on the receiving end. Still, it is wrong! Women are sacred and should not be put down!

I think the terms degrade and objectify women and do nothing to help with gender equality, but then I don't listen to hip hop much at all. I think it does encourage young impressionable young men to treat women with greater disrespect.

As long as EVERYBODY can say such things without being taken to task, sure.

The real problem is, society should scorn and ignore these boors altogether--
but as long as enough people give them money, it'll only get worse and worse.
The consumer has the ultimate power.

Your right, the violence in the rap music is a huge issue to, this is partly why there's so much gang violence because the hip-hop culture glorifies it. Too many young people are loosing their lives over this (especially in chicago). Hip-hop is possibly the worse form of music ever, I don't think rock n roll was ever this big of a problem.

Wrong, any profanity, degrading or insulting derogatory comments should not be in music....
