like cable, phone and internet is a good bundle, cheaper price than buying them individually. insurance bundles like home, auto and life are cheaper

It can be, but you have to look at aggravation factor.
If you barely use your phone, NEVER make long distance calls, and basic phone service for $8 is all you need; bundling won't help you (since most have a flat fee associated with it). Same with tv, if you decide you want to try another company, you can't.

Also, every company that bundles no longer tries to keep your business through good service, but rather they hold you hostage with the threat of enormous "early cancellation fees".

It can be ... but you need to really examine the package. The devil is in the details, and I'm not thrilled with my last "bundle".

I bundled with AT&T;, never seen any savings with them. Only see it when I don't bundle!

It was for us. Not for every thing and one, though.

It definitely can be, especially if you are already getting separate services from the same company. Going with their bundle packages is almost always cheaper. However, in some cases it's cheaper to split your services between different companies. I've done both since I've been in this apartment, and have both spent more and saved more going either way.
