The written word has been around forever...longer then any freakin from of electronic entertainment....if books ever do become obsolete....shoot me...I'm too much a bookworm to see them go :( it would be a sad day for the human race because everyone would have become to lazy to pick up a book and read...I'm sure anyone that reads books would say that they are way better then movies, tv shows, or anything like that

PLEASE NO!!! I tried reading from the computer monitor. I hated it. I need the smell of the book, the pleasure of going to the library, and the comfortable seat to help transport me into the story! :D

Not that I want it to happen but I think it will. I love reading books but I know a lot of people would rather go on line to read the newspaper (and I do sometimes) so I think eventually, it just might be obsolute.

    i love reading.
    & NOT on the computer.
i like being able to curl up in my favorite chair (or by the fire) and read a good book.

No I hope books never become obsolete because I love reading, there's nothing like a good book to snuggle up to on a cold winter night or get all up into while you're sitting under the hairdryer at your local beauty salon. Books help exercise your brain, so get yourself a good book and exercise while you flip those pages.
