I was a really young kid then but I remember all the fuss. Bobby just wouldn't shut his trap about him being able to beat a woman. I couldn't wait for the match to watch Billie trounce him! And she did! I was really happy.

I remember Bobby Riggs being trounced by Ms King! Bobby Riggs was a little goofy and had a mouth like a torn pocket... it was always hanging open. I was glad she shut him up for a while. lol!
