She used to take me and the buds to our punk-rock concerts (not that BS they call punk today), sit there enjoying a soda while we went nuts in the pit, then to the emergency room after to get us patched up, then to the coffee shop. She got along with everyone single one of those punkers and she actually became kind of the house mom at places we attended most often.
