Old school hip hop I like my music from back in the day I am not into music that talks only about women, money or cars. Still because I am a female and dont want to listen to music to shake my rump to they think I am weird or old lol I don't care. I listened to that kind of music late90s early 2000's.
All the time, listening to music with growls, pig squeals, etc.
I love the music I listen to, even if no one understands why I listen to it.
SOME songs [emphasis on some] have amazing messages in their lyrics.
*Sigh.* I know it annoys people, but it keeps me calm oddly. :3
Yes, I like classical, film scores, show tunes, and some opera. But I can't listen to any one genre for long periods of time. I have to mix genres up a bit to keep from getting bored.
Japanese metal. People are like "Do you understand the lyrics?" and I say "No, but thanks to the wonderful bilingual people all over the world and the magic of google, I can easily search up the translations. It's that simple."
I guess since they're all post-hardcore, you can listen to the classics, like Refused. I don't know how to help with any more than that lol. They're all unique bands, especially La Dispute. Their lyrics are so GENIUS. If you haven't already, definitely look further into their lyrics.
Blues....my son calls it old man music......in a way he's right...you need to be old, in pain, heartbroken, busted and broke to sing the blues right.....young men can't feel it yet...
I have a lot of "horrible, but catchy" pop songs on my ipod.
Call Me Maybe, I Want U Back, and countless Britney Spears songs are just a few. I know they're bad but I can't help but want to dance along.
I love the music I listen to, even if no one understands why I listen to it.
