Do you like Twilight the books or Twilight the movies???

The book wasn't my favorite. But it was MUCH better than the movie. The cast was ugly and pathetic.

Poorly written books, poorly produced movies. Or maybe the movies are well-produced but just follow the books so closely that they HAVE to be bad.
I just can't understand the interest in them.

i am NOT an unromantic fool, but really, there is nothing "romantic" about twilight except for parts that make me want to throw up with their corniness.

Half the time in the movies Edward is so 'brooding' he looks like he's crapping.

Well I'm not undecided, I don't love both, and I don't LOVE either... and I kinda dislike them both. The movies are better though!
The books... well, I didn't like them. I didn't like the characters, for example. Though the premise was good, the execution was quite poor.
The movies had a bit of action, which was cool, and good camera work so... the movies. :D

Oh, I really don't like them, but you're so nice and a 2 people are being a bit mean. But most people are being nice/neutral. :D Sorry.

The books were really interesting and I got through them quickly. And I think the movies are good translation to film. The movies aren't perfect, but neither are the books.

I like the movies better than the books because you don't have to hear every whiny thought Bella has. I really enjoyed the story, but Meyer's writing was awful and Bella got on my nerves. That's why I like the movies better, you just get the story and not the other stuff.

I have no heart. I'm so manly that I have no idea what love is. I like the books better because they burn longer.

I'm quite romantic, but I find nothing even remotely romantic about stalking, pedophilia, misogyny, and bad writing. If necrophilia and bestiality tickle your fancy who am I to stop you?

Twilight is nothing but the story of a girl with no personality that is a literary Mary Sue (a fictional self insert of the author) trying to have sex for 3 books with a 109 year old virgin vampire -- who isn't even a vampire, he's a Dark Fae!

There's no werewolves in the novels, there's no real moral message either, unless you want to tell me that "True Love is forever" in which case, might I say: That's not love. Edward and Bella had lust and nothing more.

Meyer likens them to Romeo and Juliet, and I'll tell you something that not many people, including her, know. Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet to mock teenage love, not to encourage it. That whole play is nothing but William Shakespeare having a laugh.

Please do challenge me on this, I'd love to give you more reasons.

Shakespeare was a very, very funny man. If you want to kill yourself out of "love" then you aren't in love. You're psychotic. Prime example for our discussion: Bella Swan.

That's one thing in my rewrites that I'm endeavoring to fix, no silly lust between the rewritten characters for a long period >.> Lust is so boring to read about.

Except when Anne Rice writes about lust.
