Pantone's color of the year announcement usually comes with psycho-sociological musings from experts about how the new hue is "encouraging and uplifting" (Honeysuckle in 2011), or evocative of "hope and reassurance" (Mimosa in 2009), or suggestive of "a touch of exoticism" that's just right for the times (Tigerlily in 2004).

This year, we'll just say it plainly: Pantone's color of the year for 2013 is Emerald. It's green.

I lean more olive but emerald is also fine. Green to means clean environment, healthy endangered specie populations, gardens, good food, forests, renewal, and many other wonderful things.

Naw I can't get next to it, change the whole scheme and start over, this is totally unsatisfactory. They didn't check with my people first on what I wanted as the new primary color which is now battleship gray. Put it out there and announce it so the other 3 people that care about this blather can find it interesting.
