I've always found that sad songs have more meaning in them. The lyrics are extremely emotional and full of poetic phrases, and the melody is played in such a way that you can feel the singer's emotions.

The problem is that a lot of my favorite songs are considered sad/depressing. Whenever I'm in the mood for a song I'll always be like "I want to listen to because its so good!" Then I change my mind because I'd rather not be crying later.

When I'm down I have a tendency to listen to sad songs and make it worse.. that's why I go to Kai when I'm sad so I don't make it worse
