As a kid, my dad would listen to Bob Dylan all the time. He's probably my dad's favourite music artist, actually, but I never liked him. I appreciate him, because his lyrics are legendary and he is a legend in himself, but I don't enjoy his music.

Dylans a poet. I love his voice and his words. I worked with a guy who couldn't stand him. He said he couldn't understand him so I guess people have their reasons but I guess its all in what you like. Maybe its because Ive always listened closely to soak in his songs into my head but his ramblings never been a problem with me.

Bob Dylan is Americas greatest rock star, and he is a folk artist! What makes him a rock star is that he played by his own rules and catipulted himself to his legendary status. He influenced The Beatles for Christs sake and they in turn influenced him. Not only is his song writing and story telling impeccable but he had incredible style too.

Bob is the best. I own all of his albums, (with the exception of his Christmas one) and have read just about every book ever written about him. Yeah, I'm that much of a nerd. He is a fascinating man and I've had a bit of a crush on him for at least 40 years. I finally got to see him in concert last summer. A dream come true. My 25 year old daughter went with me and appreciates his music as much as any old hippie I know. Rock on, Bob!!!

I'm only 34. I'm not from his time, so I don't know his music. I've heard him before. I don't like his voice. But, like I said, I'm not from his time. People from back then seemed to like him. Maybe it was a generation thing.

His voice is ok and very distinct in his early years, but now it's unintelligible. He does have some great songs and is considered to be one of the most influential singers/ songwriters of our day. He is a legend.
