Do you know the one man show known as GIRL TALK?

Greg Gillis A.K.A. Girl Talk is a biomechanical engineer gone mash-up artist. He is an absolute master of his craft, mixing over 8 different tracks at the same time at some points. Greg takes music from all different genres and time periods. And he doesn't discriminate. He is able to take multiple songs and mash them together into something ENTIRELY different. "Night Ripper" and "Feed the Animals" are two of his LP's you should check out if you're interested. Both CD's have tracks that flow into each other, connecting seamlessly.I've seen him live twice and they were two of the greatest nights ever. I HIGHLY recommend seeing him if he's in your town.
A track he has called "Bounce That" is a good introduction into his insanity. Here's just an example of what he can pack into a 3 minute period
12. "Bounce That" – 3:23
* 0:00 (29:04) The Emotions - "Best of My Love"
* 0:07 (29:11) Purple Ribbon All-Stars - "Kryptonite (I'm on It)"
* 0:37 (29:41) LCD Soundsystem - "Daft Punk Is Playing at My House"
* 1:07 (30:11) The Breeders - "Cannonball"
* 1:14 (30:18) Stevie Wonder - "My Chérie Amour"
* 1:20 (30:24) Steve Winwood - "Valerie"
* 1:22 (30:26) DJ Funk - "Booty Bounce"
* 1:53 (30:57) Britney Spears - "I'm a Slave 4 U"
* 1:56 (31:00) Wreckx-N-Effect featuring Teddy Riley - "Rump Shaker"
* 2:08 (31:12) Elastica - "Connection"
* 2:13 (31:17) Ciara featuring Ludacris - "Oh"

+1Girl Talk!? Who doesn't know about him? I simply love him. I am not even that big of a fan of rap, but I love his different mash-ups. I could have seen him at Lollapalooza like 2 years ago, but something came up. :(reply - Jimmy Shats 2009/11/21 09:45:48
