I think a lot of people are only aware of who Steven is because of American Idol but I knew him when he was just the lead singer of aerosmith.

I didnt know who he was at first when I seen him on AI at first. That old croaker freaked me the hell out.

I remember him clearly from Aerosmith. I also know that he's Liv Tyler's dad and the front man of one of the most overrated bands of all time.

I was lucky enough to be at an all time great show in DC in 75 or 76 when Aerosmith opened for Skynard.The only Skynard band. We could hear the first bands at my house 14 blocks from RFK stadium.... a quick bike ride we were in.
