There are always two side to every story.., and looking at Floyd's situation on the surface based on the way laws are rendered one could reason that he does not deserve sympathy.
But what led to the altercation..? did she strike him...? I'm just not one of those men that feels no matter what a woman do she get's a free past.
If she can hit someone.., someone should be able to hit back.., How was she conducting herself in front of the kids just prior to the physical encounter? No one is saying anything about that. A woman is no more special than a man and shouldn't be treated any different just because she is a woman.
Now I am not advocating that women should be beat on.., but at the same time when she get in one of those "I'll slap your face moods because she don't like something he said..., well..., she just injected a new rule into the game.
I have never understood how it is that the cops can come on the scene and they insist that you keep your hands where they can see them and you should not make any sudden moves. And if you attack them with just your hands they pepper spray your ass whether you are a woman or a man. Yet if a woman hit a man and he sat her ass down for it.., he is wrong. Now the cop just peeped her ass for the first time and he peppered sprayed her . On ...

Everybody has their breaking point, and their comes a time when enough is enough. I blame these celebrities for going after women that are not equally yoked that are seeking benefits. Like I said none of us were their and do not know the hold story.., but I just do not see Floyd as the kind of man that would just come in the door and go where is my bitch..? I feel like kicking her ass, there is more to this story. Sorry I am just not feeling this one...JOMO

PS. In his prime, (Sweet pea) Pernell Whitaker would have embarrassed both....
Boxing is highly demanding, highly taxing and psychologically damaging. Unfortunately, it is also highly attractive, and unimaginably lucrative. The prospect of winning, in a single fight, more money that virtually anyone will ever see, in several lifetimes ( even if you loose), is an attractive, seductive and all consuming thing. Most in the fight game, rise from very humble ( I am being so politically correct) surroundings. Should they rise, to even near the top of their game, they can take on iconic, and nearly mythical status.
Floyd Mayweather, has the distinction of being, pound for pound, one of the all time greats. This adds yet another dynamic, to an already emotionally and psychologically overburdened system.
The real truth of the matter? Their just people, no different than you and I. Their only real mistake? To be amazingly talented, endlessly gifted and still very human. When you expose such a human, to the cesspool that is the boxing worl...

The real truth of the matter? Their just people, no different than you and I. Their only real mistake? To be amazingly talented, endlessly gifted and still very human. When you expose such a human, to the cesspool that is the boxing world, you have a recipe for disaster. I cant imagine what the inner world of a professional athlete is like. Moreover, I can not begin to fathom, what it must be like to be a prize fighter, especially of Floyd Mayweathers caliber. You teach a living thing to do battle for its dinner, and then are aghast, when it bites...Just a thought...
