I only really liked 2 songs a lot, both off of REO Two, which incidentally is a large part of why I have tinnitus so damn bad. Had a Kenwood 600 power amp which was the first integrated amp (all transistor) to be considered audiophile quality, and is still respected today. It pumped 135 watts per channel peak. I also had a pair of Panasonic studio monitor headphones that in 1975 I paid $150.00 for. If you know the 600 you know the headphone jack on the first models was directly coupled to the amp. So I come into the barracks one night drunker'n snot AND stoned out of my gourd, put this on the turntable, set repeat, cranked the amp about halfway, and passed out for 6 hours or so. Six hours of REO 2 thru headphones at about 45 watts per channel. I could barely hear for about three days, and my hearing has never been the same. Anyway, here they are:
