It's not good. The character's lack depth.
The plot is nearly non-existent.
Everyone in there is a Mary-Sue.
Stephenie Meyer is a thesaurus raper.
It doesn't read properly.
For a book to be about 'a forbidden love between a vampire and a human', you have to have vampires in it.
ENORMOUS plot holes.
It doesn't read right... I mean seriously, you take any girl, no matter how well read... you're not going to her 'incandescent skin' or 'scintillating arms', or whatever shit she came up with.
That is not quality literature. I don't care what you say.
There's no character development. Anywhere.
It promotes emotional abuse.
It's both anti-feminist and sexist.
The only place there's depth in the entire series is when she's in the ocean... and the ocean is the depth.
She can't even name her creatures correctly.
The movie wasn't casted correctly... at all.
The actors that they DID cast here horrible.
The were stiff, unemotional, and didn't look like they were interested at all.
The makeup was horrible.
The setting was nothing like it was supposed to be.
"Spider monkey"? REALLY?
I've seen better special effects on Youtube videos.
The sound effects were laughable at best.
....and yet you still find people obsessing over it, talking about it 24/7
