    Dammit, I selected "I dont."

Entertainers are still citizens; they have opinions like everyone else.

And just like everyone else, that doesn't necessarily mean that I agree with or care about what they think.

The ability to sing a song or read a line and look sincere about it does not give one the right to preach to those who cant. I find it distasteful.

Free speech is extended to all Americans....even actors. ;) And, they're totally free to look like idiots.....it makes them appear so much more human.

I think it would be wise if entertainers want to continue making money for them to shut up about being communist cheerleaders, but they are free to express themselves. It's more detrimental to them when they show how much they hate America than it is to anyone else.

Let them talk, no one has to be foolish enough to be influenced by them, they are mostly rich, spoiled, and out of touch with normal Americans.

They can say whatever they want to their circle of acquaintances, but when entertainers use their own fame as a forum for political gain, that's wrong.

By asking a celebrity to keep their political point of view to themselves is the same thing as asking me not to speak my views. Now that does not prevent me for calling these celebs a hypocrite in their views, but the truth does hurt at times.

I do think they would be smart to keep their political opinions to themselves though. Considering the country is pretty much spit in half and they depend on the people for a customer base, I think it is foolish to alienate 50% of your potential customers just so you can rant on one side or the other. But they have every right to act foolish if they want to. Ha!

They have a right to voice their opinion. My question is why do people listen to stupid celebrites' opinion on politics and follow them just because they are celebrities as if they should tell other people how to think. Don't be a celebrity worshiping sheep. Think for yourself.

They can do whatever they want, but it might drive away less fans if they kept their opinions to themselves.

Nobody should be bullied into keeping their political opinions to themselves. The founding fathers felt so strongly about this, freedom of speech was guaranteed in the first article of the Bill of Rights.

Believe it or not they can actually get people to believe that they are smarter then the average person and so their opinion should carry more weight. THEY AIN'T ANY SMARTER THEN YOU OR I ! If they want to endorse somebody, do it with their wallet.

That's like listening to a vegetarian's advice about how to cook a steak.

Yeah, the problem with politics today is too much freedom of speech and not enough money for politicians.

Their Choice. Although it is quite a sensible thing to do.
