I have rejected requests because they saw me as a frequent raver, rejected requests from people who I already know ask silly and immature questions and people who don't divulge any information about themselves.
I actually reject more than I accept.
I will not befriend:
a braggart
a foul mouth
a hater
a habitual liar
a political radical of any stripe
a religious fanatic of any religion who advocates violence
and anyone who harasses anyone (I think that what you call a troll)
I auto reject the leader board friend requests and reject friend requests from people that talk to other people like they are dirt, I also reject requests from people that are trolls, and people who im pretty sure are young children and not the age they say they are.
I don't accept friend requests from anyone under 18, if they "saw you on the leaderboard", if they cannot use some semblance of grammar, spelling, punctuation and logic, if they spew hate, and once accepted they will be removed if they share too many questions. (I had one share an average of 200 questions a day, they were removed in less than a week.)
I do.....but I'm not sure I'd use the term "reject."
For me.....it's more feel or something in their bio that interests me (and with each request, I do visit their page).
And, to clarify one other point.....I've reached a saturation point with the whole friends thing. I have around what........60 friends and I come home from work, I log on to find anywhere from 50 + questions on a single day in my box. I can't imagine some SH'er's who have hundreds of friends-----I just don't get it. I can't imagine their mail boxes. But......I've become really tired of this nightly ritual of having to sit here and weed my way through them to a point where this website has become more of a chore, than an amusement.
Giving serious thoughts to leaving.
Because they are simply looking for points on the stupid system. I make friends with people who who share insightful questions or answers. They don't have to agree with me, just have a well mannered debate style.
No , but I've blocked several . When Christianity , Jesus & God are mocked , when my inteligence & patience is tested . I joined this beautiful site to spread the word of SALVATION and to make friends as well, not to take trash from mental midgets.
I mostly ignore the ones saying "I saw you on the list of top ravers". I am often hesitant about accepting some of the younger SodaHeads. Once or twice I have rejected the occasional Whackjob!
I reject those who make a request purely because of raves. I also reject very young people + those requests from India + Africa that seem dodgy. I always take a look at their profiles + questions they`ve answered, if i have nothing in common i`ll reject.

If I don't know them, or we don't have compatible profiles. OR, the big kicker is if the person posts the following-"I saw you are a top raver, please add me"
Rave whoring is ridiculous. I rave what I like, not always the poll, blogs, posts of just my friends. Don't beg for a friendship so you can get raves, please.
All the time, I don't accept leader board requests or requests from relatively new accounts. I don't really care how many friends I have but rather the quality of the ones that I have.
I'm a loser so I take what I can get...table scraps, newspaper instead of toilet paper, and I collect water in the morning from the dewdrops on the leaves.

Also, if you ask to be my friend and every person I have blocked is on your friends list; chances are we aren't going to get along.

Thanks, but that probably depends upon one's point of view.
I've been called 'immature' more times than I can count, especially recently;

But then again, one REALLY has to consider the source...
I have positive self esteem; I don't need validation of my physical attractiveness from total strangers.
I'd hate to come across as "shallow and judgmental"...
