Things have been kind of quiet on the Miley Cyrus front these days. That is until an Instagram photo surfaced this week. The image is of a person with short, cropped hair smoking a joint with the face obscured by smoke. The caption read, ““High as fvck,” It was posted on the account “mileyxxcyrus." But the ex-Disney star claims she doesn’t have an Instagram account and that is not her in the photo.

Still die-hard fans are certain it is the singer, based on the tattoo of the equals sign on the right finger of the person in the shot. Cyrus said her Twitter exploded with concerned people so she replied, "Why is everybody trippin. My timeline is blowing up. Everything's all good in my life just in a creative space right now." The singer has spent the last few months hanging with fiancé Liam Hemsworth and working on her new CD due out this year.

Still you can’t blame people for being suspicious. It’s not the first time Miley’s name and smoking have been linked — remember the Salvia incident or the Bob Marley stoner birthday cake remarks? It’s not surprising folks are concerned. But should they be? What do you think: Do you care if celebrities smoke pot?

It's not a big deal at all. Normal every day people smoke it all the time. Just because you smoke it doesn't make you a bad person or stupid & doesn't hurt anyone

I think this is a free country and should be able to anything you want to regardless , as long as you are the only one it effects. No one has the right to tell you what you can or can't put into your own body.

Yes

They sadly influence way too many young people. Using pot or any other illegal drug by them thus becomes glamorized in the eyes of their fans. It is a very bad influence and should be punished more severely than average people.

Yes. Because most of our teenage population is following her. They love her, adore her and go through an obssession of Miley Cyrus and so, if they love her that much, she should know how to be a model. Being a rock star at night and a student during the day is absurd. Those episodes of Hannah Montana are simply disastrous and stupid. They encourage teens to think with an immature mind. Even series from Nickelodeon just like Victorious, iCarly and Ned are stupid. But Hannah Montana wins the prize in silliness. And now that she has been caught smoking, shame on her cause she is influencing the younger populations!

Except you're forgetting that she is her own person. She doesn't owe her fans anything, she just creates music. She's not a "role model" and she shouldn't have to change her life because someone else wants her to be. She is a damn adult now, she hasn't been on Hannah Montana for a while, and people need to realize that they don't get to command what she does, because she was on a TV show years ago.
