It seems like forever ago that former MLB pitcher and one-time, sure-fire Hall of Famer, Roger Clemens went to trial for... something. Doing steroids? Answering questions about steroids? A little bit of both? What was supposed to be a hearing on steroids a few years ago turned out to be nothing more than a media circus, with Clemens claiming he “misremembered” several things over the years -- ironically all pertaining to performance-enhancing drugs.
Fast forward to today. It's 2012 and just like the year before that and the year before that, the US government is investigating Clemens in regards for perjury, aka lying to a jury. The government believes Clemens may have lied when discussing the PED allegations leveled against him by retired and shamed ex-baseball player Jose Canseco and Clemens' former trainer-turned-mole Brian McNamee.
Keep in mind, McNamee himself was under investigation several years ago and has revealed many names -- true or untrue and fair or unfair -- in other to protect himself. But now in 2012, things are just getting weird. Multiple jurors have fallen asleep during the Clemens case and were actually dismissed. On top of that, McNamee claims to have saved some of the steroid and human growth hormone waste from injecting Clemens from years ago. That's just creepy. Should the government just forget this trial and focus on more important things?

My wife takes steroids for ulcers on her feet. Hey Congress wanna lock her up too?? maybe I could come up with a young 50 year old.

Which is worse Roger? Being kept out of the Hall of Fame for 'roids, or lie to Congress and face perjury charges and prison time? Uummmm? ? ? ?
And WHY are we wasting billions on this, when we are broke and Holder is refusing to give the truth to congress. COuldn't we use that money for PROSECUTING HOLDER?????
