I know I may sound a tad disrespectful, but I'm from Britain, and the Olympics bore the shit out of me. What's your opinion?

I like some of the sports but what I really find interesting are the back stories of the people. Like the South African blade runner...WOW!

And the Cyprus sailing team that won their country's first ever medal, a silver.

I'm not sure what the weather is like in Britt-land, but here in middle America it is too damn hot to even go outside. I guess I'm glad the Olympics are on because because its just something else to watch instead of being outdoors.
