Do you believe the aztecs and other ancient civilizations were right about the end of the world

some do , some dont . i watched some of the H2 show Ancient Aliens and i found it uncanny that all these civilizations had stories of flying serpents or dragons that gave them knowledge of various topics . what do you think

I think they just ran out of stone and chisel before they could complete it. The planetary alignment is going to be very interesting, though.

No. Ancient civilizations almost always produce scientific literature less accurate than modern sources do.

These shows tend to aggrandize the end of the world aspect. The thing is , the Mayan calender is circular, whereas, the Gregorian calendar is linear. A new long count will begin.
