Hillary Clinton Accused of Faking Illness to Avoid Benghazi Testimony: Do You Think She Was Ill?

The State Department slammed former United Nations envoy John Bolton over his suggestion that Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton falsely claimed a concussion to avoid a potentially embarrassing appearance before Congress to explain the deadly terrorist attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.

In an appearance on Fox News, Bolton said that Clinton’s claim that she had fainted because of the flu, hitting her head and suffering a concussion, was what foreign service officers call a “diplomatic illness,” intended to free a diplomat from an unpleasant duty. Clinton was supposed to appear before congressional foreign affairs committees on Thursday to respond to questions about whether security failures opened the way for the Sept. 11 attack.

  When she thought that she had a culpable scapegoat, it only took her a day to make a film disgracefully blaming and naming an innocent man who subsequently got locked up in jail on trumped up charges.

  You bring up an interesting point... The Defense Authorization Bill 2013 provides the Federal Government authorization to detain American Citizens indefinitely & w/o trial if it feels one is a terrorist threat. Whose a threat a terrorist threat? Anyone the Fed says.

  I submit this argument. The mere coincidence of it. After putting it off for so long, it's been months. She needs to testify what she knew and when she knew it. Then when she can not put it off any longer, she has a concussion from fainting? Now, we all know that politicians have a army of handlers, people who hold their papers, do their hair, make up, wipe their butts and nose. It would also follow that they have a doctor to attend them as well and not just any physician but the best money can buy(our money, by the way) This doctor follows them around like Lassie followed Little Timmy. A Secretary of State Deputy testified before Congress that some ,if not all notifications made it up to the 7th floor, which is Clinton's offices. Frankly, I don't give a damn if she is a private citizen by then or not, she has knowledge of events, she said she was responsible and should be held accountable for her part in it. Time to put her Big Girl pantsuit on and have the guts to face the music for her incompetence. People died in this. Watergate was not fatal for anyone. This was and for 4 Americans, one of which was the first Ambassador to be killed in more than 30 years. Everyone who was involved should be held accountable and suffer more consequences than a few underlings resigning their positions. I believe that the President himself was involved, they are briefed every day on security and much more. Yet he maintained for weeks that it was that video. They arrested that maker of that video, I don't know on what charges, but whatever they are, it's BS. There is freedom of speech in the U.S., and if the Islamists do not lie it, tough turbans. Deal with it, we don't like the honor killings of your Sharia Law either, but we can't seem to get it through their heads that murder is wrong. But we have 4 that died because of our own people. If justice is to be served it should be those who were in charge of these Americans' safety.

  I'm not sure she wasn't ill, but the timing seemed awfully convenient for her--it not only lets her get out of testifying about her role in lying about Benghazi and letting her radical Muslim buddies rape and slaughter our ambassador, but also allows her to get out from under Obama while he's still riding high from the election and hasn't had time to sink her along with himself.

It was her responsibility to inform the American people. As this administration said when Rice was being held responsible " she had no knowledge of Benghazi."   You might be right that it's too late for her, but never underestimate the brevity of the American voting public's (or about half the American voting public's) political memory--especially aided and abetted by the liberal media. Remember when they were promoting Hillary as "the smartest woman in America?" Four years from now don't feel surprised if they're doing it again--and if roughly half the American voting public falls for it.

  The shame is that after doing all this for Obama, he will throw her under the bus if he needs to. Let's hope she has enough strength to grab him and drag him with her. Everyone in valves need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If any of us were implicated in 4 murders, we would be sitting in a cell awaiting trial. Our politicians should be treated no differently.
