I can't find any reason as to why he wouldn't be a good father.
I obviously don't know him but from what I've read and from the words of his children, he WAS a good father. But that is not up to us to judge or not.
R.I.P Michael. I know for a fact that he WAS a good man. Just a good man with problems. But who doesn't have problems? Stop judging him haters, you're not as sane as you think.
Do You Believe Michael Jackson Was a Good Dad?

Michael Jackson's children reveal their fondness for their father in a new interview with Oprah -- and no matter how you felt about Jackson, you can't help but be a little bit moved.
The kids recall that the King of Pop always treated them well and tried to protect them from his fame and who the media made him out to be -- though that didn't always work.

Paris, 12, told Oprah, "I kind of felt like no one understood what a good father he was. He was the best cook ever. He was just a normal dad, except he was the best dad ... He tried to raise us without us knowing who he was, but that didn't really go so well."
Michael's mother Katherine Jackson, who is now raising the kids, explained that the children often obsess over what their father used to do.
She told Oprah, "What they talk about is, 'Daddy would do this and daddy would do that.' Or, 'That's how daddy did it.' Paris is very emotional. She talks about him all the time. She's the strong one. All the pictures on her wall in her bedroom are of Michael."
Paris says she understands why her dad made her and her two brothers, Prince Michael, 13, and Blanket, 8, wear veils in public so no one would recognize them.
"I appreciated it, [but] it wasn't always comfortable," she said.
In the interview, the kids recall walks on the beach in Bahrain with their dad and hours on the roof of their Las Vegas home watching the lights of the Strip.
Paris said her best memories of Jackson are of "spending quality time" with him away from her brothers.
"Sometimes he would take me to an art museum, because we both loved art," she said. "He was just a normal guy, except for he was, like, the best dad ever. He made the best French toast in the world."
Prince agreed, "He just made the best breakfasts in the world."

Jordie's father Evan was mentally ill. In 2006 Jordan accused Evan of attacking him with a barbell, choking him and spraying his face with Mace. Evan was the one who molested his own son, not Michael! Evan commited suicide after Michael's death.
Then there was Sneddon... he had a vendetta against Michael. He was joking about MJ's greatest hits album being released on the same day as his arrest and saying, "Like the sheriff and I really are into that kind of music." He then proceeded to call Michael "Wacko Jacko" and shouting "We got him, we finally got him" to the media, when he had only just began an investigation and had gathered limited information or evidence.
Michael Jackson was a phenomenal dancer and a great entertainer, but the weird plastic surgeries alone shows us that he was never happy with himself, and there was a very deep seated and unhealthy reason for that.
THAT IS WHAT CRISPUS ATTUCKS SAID TO PATRICK HENRY.
THERE ARE MANY FINGERS POINTING YOUR WAY
As to if he really was a good parent or not: everyone has different ideas of how they should raise their kid or what a parent should be like. Who are we to judge someone we never knew personally?
* shaking my head in disbelief that this question was posted *
Greedy people were saying everything against him to get money. MJ taught us a lesson in humanity and love for peace and harmony, but the haters will say all the negatives they want.
Micheal seemed like the type of guy who only comes once each 300 years.. He made people smile.. He scared people.. and most of all.. He was an Idol tens of millions..
He made my transition into B-Boying so powerfull... He was the best dancer, singer... and it seems like he would make a person laugh too.. It seems like just yesterday that he passed.. I miss him.. I really wasnt a fan of him before he passed.. I just wasnt.. I was at summerschool when I had found out that he passed.. (good summerschool) and I was very confused.
I did a hell lot of research on him. He was a VERY nice guy. He seemed like an awkward fellow when ever the papparatzi chased him around... but nowadays.. what celebrity dosnt..
He took very great care of his children.. When I grow up.. I'm going to go to Los Angeles.. find his Neverland place.. and I'll pay whatever it takes to tour it.
R.I.P Micheal Jackson
