Do you agree with XM radio's suspension of the shock jocks Opie and Anthony?

Didn't they move to satellite radio so that they could say anything they want? Don't people pay to hear this kind of stuff? And if they pay, can't they stop paying and stop listening? This is deplorable.

It's satellite radio. Why the hell is XM starting to act like the FCC. Speaking of which FCC stands for Federal Crap Coalition. They wouldn't know good taste if it came and bit them on the oprah loving asses. Oprah gets away with the same crap these guys do every day. FCC doesn't do anything to her, and XM needs to lighten up, and let them have some fun with the show. If they want to joke around about having sex with Rice, have fun. I for one wouldn't want Bush's sloppy seconds.

If you don't like them, don't listen, but they are on Satellite radio....a subscription is required, and you can block channels just like cable....Protect freedom of speech!

It's satellite. You have to pay to listen. If you have it change the channel. It's like cable. You don't have to watch channels that you find offensive, you just block them. So your opinion is yours, but your statement is not very valid, considering only those that pay for the service heard it.

All I can think is that they are trying to stir up controversy and in turn, ratings. They may be trying to go the route of Imus which sparked a huge debate, and hence, media coverage. They may be trying the same thing.

If this was public radio, then yes I would, but it is a subscriber
satalite service. (HBO) So even though what they said was horrid, and
unforgivable, not to mention in bad taste, they are protected under the
1st amendment to say it, and we have the right to turn the channel.
