I'm 59 years old and never tried a cigarette. Thank God!!!

When someone lights me on fire I do tend to smoke.

after many fails i was able to finally quit 8 years ago. hey teens please dont smoke its so hard to stop and trust me you will want to quit after starting

NO! I never did and I never will. It is a gross disgusting dirty stinky habit. It causes so many diseases and other health issues that I don't understand why it is legal.

But their smoking effects their health which effects health care costs which does effect me. They are sick more often and off work and that effects me. They throw butts out the window and pollute and that effects me too. Not to mention second hand smoke causes cancer in the people around them. They also cause fires when they are careless, which is more often than not because when you don't care about yourself and your health, you don't care much about anything.

It would be illegal for the big tobacco companies to just shoot and kill people so why isn't it illegal to sell them ciggarettes which are doing the same thing. When used as directed, they kill you. The only difference is the corporations are making money and employing people.

I agree with the war on drugs. A complete waste of time, money and resources. I just really hate ciggarettes. With all the chemicals added by the tobacco industry, quiting isn't always an option. It is the most addictive drug aound. Smoking killed my mother who said on her death bed that she wished she could have stopped smoking 30 years ago when my brothers and sisters used to fight with her about it all the time. I guess with smoking, it is just a personal vendetta for me.

was a "social" smoker 25+ years ago. Never exceeded 1/2 pack a day. Still not proud of it; quit "cold turkey" for New's Years that long time ago.

I smoke marijuana but not cigarets. I would never touch a cigaret those things are nasty.

After spending my entire childhood in a house with an inversion layer of tobacco smoke, right at my nose level, and being sick often as a result, I hate tobacco passionately. I tried once or twice in high school and it was awful. These days, if smoking in a house with kids isn't outlawed as child abuse, it certainly should be. In the Fifties nobody knew any better, even though butts were nicknamed "cancer sticks" or "coffin nails."

Only if I catch on fire. I quit six years ago July the 8th after 43 years of smoking, and no I am not sick, lucky though.

I may have up to 3-4 cigars in a year. Not a fan of cigarettes.

I do rather like pipes, but don't own one.

no my brother used to until he got married then my sister in law made him quit my father died of pancreatic cancer due to smoking a lot though
