More often than not, celebrity dating rumors are based on unnamed sources who are friends with close friends of their sisters' cousin. Or something. You know how it goes. But every once in a while, the tabloids get enough evidence to confirm the rumors immediately.
This is one of those times.
Not only did witnesses tell Us Weekly that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have been seeing each other, but the magazine actually got its grubby hands on a whole slew of pictures of the new couple expressing undeniable affection.
And they don't seem to be hiding anything, either. It's not like the pictures were taken over Gosling's backyard fence; these pics were taken at Disneyland.
One of the witnesses told Us, "They were very playful. Eva was skipping around like a little girl ... She would lean into him and she held his arm the entire time."
If you're not up-to-date on their careers, the "Notebook" actor and "2 Fast 2 Furious" actress have been working together on "The Place Beyond the Pines," a movie about a professional motorcycle rider who robs a bank.
An unnamed source told Us Weekly, "[Gosling and Mendes] have been friends for a long time. There's always been this strong chemistry between them ... This was just a matter of time! It hasn't been a secret how excited Eva's been to film with him, and she's always joked with us about how gorgeous he is. She's never been shy about having the hots for him!"
