Do Fashion and Sports Mix?

There is a reason that most people tromp around in athletic shoes versus wearing dress shoes. Think the sports industry might have something to do with it?

While I care minimally about each years new uniforms, I honestly don't care much about what they wear outside the court. I mainly care for how they play not how they look. Looks will not really gonna win a league lol

Not for me personally, I don't really care what an athlete is wearing other than the uniform of the team they play for. I only care what happens on the field, court, etc. I RARELY watch postgame press conferences anyway. The only postgame conversation that matters is once you've won it all and you're not going to run back to the locker and get all "gussied up" and then come back out and celebrate right?

You are who you are.
If playing dress-up is your thing, what right does anyone have to judge you?
To some people, clothes and "style" are better than "bling", and not as expensive. I have two acquaintances in the corporate world who have gone past the corporate boundaries as far as stylish dressing is concerned, but because they are both "all-stars" and are responsible for bringing in more money for their corporations than any two others, even most Board members accept that's who they are. I am also acquainted with their wives and children, so if anyone has the belief that it's only O.K. if you're gay, you need some real life seasoning my friend.
I only have four "corporate" ties, all the rest are Bugs Bunny, Superman, Wile E. Coyote, etc. I head up a very profitable division, and my subordinates think it makes me "human". My superiors let me get by with it because they think they can't find someone who would do better (and they are probably right). They also know I have turned down a number of headhunters with offers of more money to do substantially the same thing I'm doing now.
Yes, I know loyalty is more than old-fashioned, but I'm having fun doing what I do where I am. Loyalty goes both ways and raises are steady. The better my division performs, the better our performance bonus' are.
What else could one want?

Unfortunately they do, but only because they are in the spot light and aren't afraid to take the opportunity to have some fun. Lest we all forget that the Thunder avg age is under 23 years old.

Of course, the athlete's put the cool in fashion, and have been doing so for years. Especially the Black guys, then theres a a few White one's that will go down as being well dressed, like Broadway Joe.
