In an unusually considerate move, a major porn company has decided to halt distribution of a sex tape that features tragic country singer Mindy McCready, who died on Sunday. The cause of death appears to have been suicide.

According to TMZ, Vivid Entertainment will freeze sales of "Baseball Mistress," which includes footage of an encounter between McCready and her then boyfriend. There is apparently also footage of McCready discussing her affair with married baseball star Roger Clemens.

McCready never took any kind of legal action against distribution of the tape, but a representative has told TMZ that they will not be continuing to sell it as a mark of respect.

McCready was found dead at her Arkansas home, and had gunshot wounds that appeared to be self-inflicted. Her boyfriend David Wilson died in January.

I would like to think that they should but it's their call, their product. I'm not going to make buisness decisions, espicially for a company that I didn't think have the heart to respectfully stop sales to begin with.

I have never heard of Mindy McCready until after her death nonetheless, I am truly sorry that she was unable to find the answers for her many issues.

I would like to think that she is in a better place now but still I do not like the idea that a beautiful soul departs before its time in this realm.

As for trying to make money on these tapes, I think it is a little too soon after her passing to release them.
I say, give it another three hundred and sixty five days before this topic comes up again.

I'm always amused by people like you who believe that if somebody else has a belief in God or an afterlife that it is somehow detrimental to their existence. You could have scrolled right on by Janet's comment's and left your insipid beliefs to yourself. Although since people like you just hate it when somebody of faith voices their beliefs you seem to rebuke it, but when you do it (like now) it's perfectly fine! Leave your confirmatory bias's to yourself and or to other's like you, and leave others to their own confirmations.

They had been released if I read it right. They're just not releasing any more copies of it out of respect.

That... surprised the hell out of me to be quite honest. A porn distributor stopping sales out of respect for a deceased country singer... Guess there is a heart after all in that industry, somewheres.

While they were 'working it, they might see royalties for their (easy) action. Instead of totally embarrassing themselves, they should lend the charities( not of their choice) a a 90% cut of the income. Everybody wins!!!

Any Money made off that tape is gonna be cursed if good does not come from it Do right by her boys . They do not have to know right now where it came from or ever really.

What does her Will indicate should be done with her Estate ? Just follow the law , on the distribution of the departed , that is all that should be done. It appears here that there was a contract between McCready and a studio , follow the law dont start making new law or changing the agreement terms of the Contract. The heirs of McCready might want to determine the outcome of the remaining Estate.
