Disney announced Tuesday that it is acquiring Lucasfilm LTD, including the Star Wars franchise, for $4.05 billion in stock and cash.

The company also announced it will be releasing Episode 7 of Star Wars in 2015 and that “more feature films expected to continue the Star Wars saga and grow the franchise well into the future.” What do you think? Are you excited for the next "Star Wars" installment, courtesy of Disney?

Not looking forward to how they "revive" the movies with a Post-Episode 6 storyline.

Of course! This is fantastic news... I was a little surprised that he sold his companies to Disney. He has had a close relationship with them for a long time working on theme park projects. I know he's always been a big Disney fan, so I guess it does make sense. But I was shocked when I read that more movies are coming! Bring 'em on!
