The NBA Draft is officially in the books and as predicted by many, University of Kentucky star and owner of basketball's greatest unibrow, Anthony Davis, was drafted No. 1 overall by the New Orleans Hornets. Davis, a forward, comes into the league with high expectations, formerly as college basketball's top prospect, who will try to make the Hornets relevant again.
Davis wasn't the only former Kentucky player drafted high though. Davis' teammate Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was selected right after him at No. 2 overall to the Charlotte Bobcats. Both teammates can be given a lot of credit for Kentucky's National Championship. Overall, Kentucky had four players drafted in the first round, tying that total with the University of North Carolina (UNC).
The rest of the top ten concluded with Florida's Bradley Beal (Washington), Syracuse's Dion Walters (Cleveland), Kansas' Thomas Robinson (Sacramento), Weber State's Damian Lillard (Portland), UNC's Harrison Barnes (Golden State), Washington's Terrence Ross (Toronto), UConn's Andre Drummond (Detroit), and Duke's Austin Rivers (New Orleans). Did you team make the right NBA Draft pick?
