Jan Haskell 2012/07/24 23:08:54yes+3How sad ... I used to be so proud of having my own copy of the Weekly Reader. It had lots of great things inside!

- KittyKat 2012/07/24 23:15:25yes+2Yes I remember getting them all the time in elementary school. The teacher would call on us to read some of the article. It's sad that they are done with this. :/reply
- Pele Emerging 2012/07/24 23:14:22rip+2I remember it as a weekly thrill! I know that at least part of the time when I was growing up, my parents paid a little extra for the subscription because not everyone in class got it. I know that teachers simply can't even get all kids to bring necessary school supplies, let alone extras. Plus, there is no room in tight classroom budgets for extras like Weekly Reader. Still, it makes me sad.reply
