My dad influenced my taste in music. That old school R&B; is what I like no doubt!!! However, he is not as big of a Michael fan as me that is my own doing!!!

Both my parents love slow R&B; and pop songs. My parents hate the type of music I love. They believe rock's from the Devil, and they've been trying for a long time to make me change interests.

Growing up my mom wouldnt let me listen to the radio or watch MTV. For this I am thankful because then I might have ended up like every other kid in my generation listening to awful 90's pop then following musical fads through my life. Once I became a teenager I discovered music review sites like Pitchfork/Sputnikmusic that turned me on to good underground music and from there I have always found it myself.
