I think that, like usual, she looks younger than she really is. If looking thirty is looking "old and haggard" for the 43-year-old, something is wrong with her. This obsession with looking youthful is silly.
Her hair is better than usual, though.

It can’t always be easy being one of the world’s most glamorous stars. Imagine the stress of having to get all dolled up for red carpet events and award shows. Just think about the pressure of always having to look put together, even when you’re going to the grocery store. And then there’s the disappointment of a less-than-stellar photo gracing the front of a magazine. Woe is Jennifer Lopez, who is allegedly less than satisfied with her image on the latest issue of People.
JLo sat for the shot in support of the cover story claiming “I Have No Regrets!” But apparently she has one -- the fact that she believes the pic is unflattering. According to the New York Post, a source has said that the former “American Idol” judge’s camp thinks the shot makes her look “old and haggard.” Some are even going so far as to compare her look, inclusive of bangs and fly-away hair, to kooky fashion designer Betsey Johnson.

It's not like 'People' put a picture of her ass on its cover or anything, so I don't really see why she's complaining.
