Obama. Snooki. You never thought you'd hear those two names in the same sentence, did you?
Well, there's a first time for everything.
During his recent appearance on "The View," Obama said he didn't know who Snooki was. However, in May at the White House Correspondents Association Dinner, Obama joked that the orange-skinned "Jersey Shore" star should be excluded from paying the new tanning tax, along with her buddies, "The following individuals shall be excluded from the indoor tanning tax within this bill. Snooki, J-WOWW, the Situation, and House Minority Leader John Boehner."
So what's the deal, Mr. President?
"I know he knows who I am," Snooki told E! Online. "Why did he have to lie and say he didn't know me? He did say Snooki and JWoww about the tanning stuff and now he doesn't know who I am? He has to stop lying."
For perhaps the first time ever, we have to agree with Snooki here. Was Obama just acting highbrow by pretending not to have heard of the star of MTV's hit reality show? Looks like someone got caught being a snob.
