Mark has struggled with drugs, and alcohol addiction. He has a violent past that ended him in prison charged with assault and attempted murder. He permanently blinded and maimed a security guard. On Piers Morgan he states his wife, children and god have turned his life around. He has also started a foundation, the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation in May 2001 for the purpose of raising and distributing funds to youth service and enrichment programs.

The interview was compelling. Do you think mark Walhberg has changed for good?

Simply judging from this interview, it sounds like he's made a complete turn around for the better with his life....and I congratulate him for that.

Simply do not know him other than interviews - I do know he came from the mean streets of South Boston and has done well with his career. To do something for other youth faced with similar obstacles is a good thing and he should be congratulated for doing it.

You have to have a significant event happen in your life in order for you to change or at least reevaluate your lifestyle.

He did and kudos to him

Money can do that to people. Look at Queen Latifa! I think everyone deserves a second chance in many circumstances. Here in our little wilderness settlement he would have been executed and fed to wild dogs. Really.
