ORANGE, Ca. (KABC) — Former NBA star Dennis Rodman has been
sentenced to 104 hours of community service for failing to pay child
support.
The ex-Laker appeared in a courtroom in Orange, California Tuesday.
A family court commissioner also sentenced him to three years probation.
Rodman, 51, was ordered to catch up on child and spousal support payments, which reportedly total more than $850,000 dollars.
Court documents filed recently claimed Rodman was “broke.”

Miserable excuse for a father.reply - missfit 2012/05/30 02:41:36
How could he be broke with as much as NBA players make? If he spent it, then he is irresponsible and stupid to go through that kind of money so fast. A lot of community service sounds good to me. That is a staggering amount of child support. I wonder how much he was supposed to pay per month.reply - wolf sloan 2012/05/30 02:41:09
+1I'm sure that all that body art took a sizable chunk of his paycheck.reply - GoodEncounter 2012/05/30 01:41:33
+1Obviously the man has some serious problems-Spending being one of them. I think community service is a great idea.
