Well, it's not a 'good idea', but I'm sure it's not her main priority right now. She has a lot going on.

I think she's approach is not rational,She later should feel regret, especially when she look back.

Good move in terms of keeping millions of followers. Bad move in terms of everything else.

Then again, she could always post more awkward pictures to bring them back.

    A) it makes her seem bitter 2) What happens when/if he gets married again & the new wife wants that name? All of her followers would follow her to a new acct, I guess. I don't follow either of them.

The response she made on Twitter sounded good enough, but keeping his name there just seems REALLY heartbroken stalker-ish.

It's just fuggin creepy! The ex kept my name even after she remarried. I divorced her over 10 yrs ago and she still sends me long rambling rerun emails every few months how she's the victim and I'm the bad guy. lol I divorced her because she cheated. Figure that one out!

If you no longer want anything to do with the man, why hold on to the name? And for a Twitter account, of all things? Just to prove a point? Because you became popular again while married to Ashton because your career fizzled out after "Striptease"?

You need a third option titled, 'Who Cares". The woman needs her head examined for marrying that kid in the first place.

Keeping a tattoo after a break-up because you know you were stupid and laser is super painful? Ok... Justified... Holding on to a tweeter account after a break-up? That's just lame...

I wouldn't call it a good move per se, but bad move seems too harsh.
    Where's the undecided Sodahead?

I have friends whose parents are divorced but their moms keep their ex-husband's last name.

But honestly, it doesn't seem like such a huge deal.

So, does this mean that a young man who is swept off his feet by an older woman, marries her, then comes to his senses, must be held social/political hostage by her?

I don't like this. In fact, I think Ashton might want to have a real talk with her about his autonomy and new life sans the old lady.
