This was created all from scratch & all of the elements like the water, mountains, clouds & lightning I freehand drew them using my laptop. Then after I was done drawing them I layered them by pasting each elements over the other. I drew, texture, shaded & layered them with creating depth in mind. The lightning doesn't pop out as much as I hoped. But I goes it helped.
