Dave Grohl Honored With Massive Drumsticks: Do You Like Him More as a Drummer or a Frontman?

Dave Grohl's hometown of Warren, Ohio recently honored the musician with record breaking 900-lb. drumsticks. Grohl, who got his start in Nirvana, is considered by many to be an amazing drummer, but he is also a powerhouse frontman for the Foo Fighters. That leads me to wonder, do you prefer Grohl behind a drum set or behind a mic? I'm having a hard time deciding myself.

See, In High School, we actually separate "Girl pop" from "pop" so we see pop as Foo Fighters, Green Day exc, where as when we say "girl pop" we are referring to bubblegum pop Jonas Bros, Justin Beiber, and Rihanna.

There is a reason popular music is popular. In the case of Jonas and The Beebs; it's because the industry shoves this crap on us until we can't walk into Target without hearing it. But in other cases, it's because it's REALLY good music. This is the case with Foo.

I love him, I think he's brilliant at music, I just don't like the fact that he constantly puts other musicians down, as though he's better than them, just because he doesn't like their style of music.

Well, though I'm not a fan of the guy, he's made comments talking about how awful all of Justin Bieber's music is and how he has no talent, and though I can't remember them all, I remember reading about several musicians that he has insulted.

To each his own. If Justin Bieber makes some people happy that makes him a good musician, because that is what musicians should do. Make people happy. Why puts Dave Grohl or even you above him?

Both EQUALLY. He is an amazing frontman to an amazing band and he contributed to Nirvana WAY more than he is given credit for. I just really love Dave, he's such a cool dude.
