When you've worked as long as Daniel has on a single franchise (he practically grew up on set having been working on the films since he was just a kid), I imagine that you become very attached to the actors and crew!

It is very moving, and as a HP fan I can totally see him. If they decide to make something about Albus Severus I wouldn't be surprised if Dan jumped in on the opportunity to play Harry again.
