Jackman would be terrific. Saw him with the ugly Craig on Broadway and you could tell the real talent between the two of them. Craig was No match for looks to presence.

I think they should go with an unknown. All of these actors listed above have good qualities in their own right, but are too recognizable (at least to me). If it has to be one of the ones listed above, I'd choose Clive Owen. He looks like James Bond to me.

I've never seen any of the Bond's since Roger Moore... never saw Timothy Dalton or Daniel Craig... didn't even know Craig was Bond at all...

I've seen Goldblum on stage. He is a VERY good dramatic actor. I think you would be surprised. Up to now his chacters have been written with a humorous side to them with a quirky snideness to them.

He can very definately pull off the Bond roll.
